It is a common business practice today to hire a professional ios app developer and pay him/her a monthly wage to work on your software development projects for an agreed time period.

However, many entrepreneurs hire best ios app developer without prior agreement or contract being drawn up and then find themselves under pressure from their developer who will claim they are entitled to work for them for as long as they want until the project is finished. In most cases this is not beneficial to either party because it takes away all of the power which you have over the relationship. If there is no clear cut line between when payment finishes and when a developer can legally stop working on your project, then one day he might just decide that you owe him more money and he won't do anything until you pay him what he thinks he is owed.

Here are 8 things you should be aware of before hiring an app developer:

1)You hire the developer and not the app:- If an entrepreneur wants to hire a developer to make their vision come alive, it is important for them to understand that they are hiring a person, not a finished product. Why? Because there will always be bugs and problems with any software application. When you hire someone to make something unique or design something from scratch, then it's going to take time, especially if this is your first time doing it too. Hiring a talented ios app developer might save you hundreds of hours but it will still take some time before the project is completed.

2) More time doesn't mean higher quality:- Many developers only work on one project at a time. That means that they can take as much time as needed to complete your job if there are no other projects demanding their attention. However, the longer it takes to finish the project, the more likely it is for you to experience problems along the way or for them to make costly mistakes which could have been avoided if they had put in more effort and concentration into completing your job fast but still maintaining high quality standards. It's important that both parties understand that this type of relationship means that either party has rights over the other one depending on circumstances surrounding each specific job.

3) The costs can be less than expected:- Many business owners get confused when it comes to working with app developers because they think that the costs of hiring someone who can do coding for their project will be enormous. That's why sometimes entrepreneurs hire out for small jobs and then hire permanently once they see the results in a short period of time. As a result, many end up regretting not hiring a permanent developer from day one.

4) Hiring an individual doesn't mean you hire a company:- Many developers hire freelancers to work on independent projects without registering as a limited company or team which means they are not subject to any type of employment law. In other words, if they hire two people there is no legal requirement for them to pay minimum wage or something similar if the project goes on for too long (and they don't hire enough people).

5) They could be breaking the law:- It is against the law to hire an individual who doesn't hold a valid residency visa. If there is one thing that any business owner should know, it's that hiring illegal immigrants can have many consequences which might mean losing money or even going to jail. Be sure to hire only app developers who are legally allowed to work in your country because if you hire someone illegally, then you are breaking the law as well.

6) Don't pay fees upfront:- Many entrepreneurs hire freelance ios app developers through web sites like oDesk or Freelancer without signing a contract first. They think that by paying upfront they are securing the developers' immediate attention. However, what many of them don't know is that whether the developer accepts their offer or not, he can still ask for payment after submitting their work. It might seem unfair but it's the way these websites work and you should be aware of this before hiring an app developer through one of them.

7) They aren't product managers (and vice versa):- Hiring someone to code your project does not mean that you hire a person who knows everything about software development too. That means that if there are technical terms or issues which need solving during the development process, you cannot depend on him for freelance ios app developers only hire people who know how to do both jobs so hire with that in mind.

8) There are no lifetime guarantees:- When hiring app developers, any business owner who wants to hire them on a permanent basis should know that it's unlikely they hire staff for the same job forever (unless you hire people who work remotely and pay high salaries). The point is that if your product or company is successful, then staff turnover will happen because employees will want higher paying jobs with more responsibility at some point. That means that there are no lifetime guarantees when it comes to companies like this one! That doesn't mean you shouldn't hire ios app developer at all though; you just need to be aware of how these things work beforehand so you don't end up hiring someone only to find out he leaves.
